The well in Clywell
The name comes from the story of Isaac and the wells, in Genesis 26.
There was a famine in the land. The wells Isaac's father had dug years before had been filled in with earth, and the easy thing would have been to move on. Isaac dug them out again. Then he kept digging new ones. The first two were disputed, so he let them go and dug another. That one he called Rehoboth, meaning “room”, because at last there was room to flourish.
We think it is a good picture of what a technical partner should be: willing to restore what already exists, ready to build what is missing, and committed to keeping it running for the long haul.

Who we are
Clywell Technologies was founded in 2024 by Sodiq Olalekan, who has been building software for businesses since 2018.
One project on this site predates the company. In 2021, before Clywell existed, Sodiq built an operations platform for a Bureau de Change business. It is still in daily use today. Clywell supports the platform, and Journal is its rebuild.
Clywell was set up to do that kind of work for more businesses: build what they need, and keep it running.
